Although some claim that the school filters are there to protect children’s innocence, they instead limit the children’s ability to grow and learn, sheltering them from issues that are deemed too unfavourable or offensive by the school.  One problem is that as soon as school bans a website, other parents began to demand to ban another website, eventually leaving only a few websites left for students, as it can be seen in book-banning cases. Several filters also blocks legitimate educational website, as proven by Bikini Atoll, a nuclear test site, is banned by school.This means that the school filter has already gone too far.  Websites such as National Organization for Women are also often banned by filters, due to delving in controversial topics, which limits student’s potential to learn.To present those evidences,  a cause and effect method, because it describes the cause being the filter and the effect being children ability to grow is restricted due to websites being censored.
