Vito's Etymology and cognate poem Empty Vito's Etymology and cognate poem

The three words I chose:

Bird - The word bird means feathered, warm-blooded vertebrate animal of the class Aves. The word comes from an old English word "bridd".
Long - The word comes from the old English word "lang", as in having a great linear extent, that extends considerably from end to end.
Indonesia - The word Indonesia comes from the word "India" and the Greek nesos "island".

I long for Indonesia
The island is beautiful
The landscape is beautiful
The nature of it is just beautiful
The streams of birds
The gorgeous sky
As I pass by
Long live my beautiful nation

This poem pretty much describes the beauty of Indonesia, and why many people (including myself) really love about this long-living nation. The elements I use are the skies, islands, and the seas to describe the beauty of Indonesia. The most important element I used is bird. Bird is the symbol of "Unity in Diversity" in Indonesia, and that's why I think it's the most important element here.
