This article provides definition of thesis statement, including with bullet points. It provides us how to write effective thesis by checking criteria such as “Do I answer the question?”. It then provides example of strong thesis.

Ratings:
I rate the video above every other website because videos are easier to understand than articles. I rate the ramussen the lowest because it doesn’t explain in great detail on how to write thesis statemnts. The softschool provide examples of thesis, which can be helpful but not specific. The writing center The writing center article is too long, while the Illinois article has too much of a “don’t do this” type of advice. The Rasmussen only provides definition, not too helpful for writing effective thesis.
