1. “The Viral ‘KKN Desa Penari’ Twitter Story” (Ataya) https://english12.forumotion.com/t196-the-viral-kkn-desa-penari-twitter-story-ataya
Thesis: The article tells a viral story from a twitter account called @SimpleM81378523. The story is about a group of college students who experience paranormal activities during their community service in a secluded village. Their paranormal experience includes hearing a mysterious musical instrument (gamelan), seeing an eerie woman dancing in the middle of the forest, and visions of ghosts. Allegedly, it was located in East Java based on the description of the story. The story begins when one of the students made a deal with a supernatural being. The student fails the deal and causing the others to suffer several supernatural events that result in the death of two students.
Claim: “ These people have even mentioned East Java as the alleged location, based on the description in the story, as well as finding an alleged picture of one of the students”.
Evidence: In the article, the writer mentioned that a picture of one of the students was leaked to the public. The claim was true because the picture has gone viral on Twitter and other social media platform. The picture itself shows a student standing in front of a place that was depicted by @SimpleM81378523.
Comment: The article that was written by Ataya was a good summarization because the thread from twitter was about 500 tweets long and she can make it very short but appealing. However, there is a word that needs to be described or explained such as; Gamelan. Gamelan is a word from Bahasa Indonesia, therefore need to be explained by the writer.

Thesis: The leader of Nazi Germany Adolf Hitler committees suicide on his headquarter in Berlin. Not long after the incident, a conspiracy theory started to spread that Hitler’s body was missing on his bunker. The Indonesian government has found proof of papers that Hitler turned to an Indonesian Citizen. He changed his identity and got married to a Sundanese woman. The incident led to the creation of a book from Indonesian writer, the book titled “HITLER MATI DI INDONESIA”.
Claim: The conspiracy theory was that Hitler’s body was not on his bunker. Hitler faked his death and turned to an Indonesian citizen, then he continued his life in Indonesia until he died.
Evidence: A book called “HITLER MATI DI INDONESIA” support a proof of pictures, documents, and others that Hitler was in Indonesia. He was tired of war and wanted to have a normal life. He died and was buried in Surabaya on January 15, 1970.
Comment: This article is short but there is a lot of information. The important points or information was well delivered, the writer even mentioned the dates and several locations. Another input that I would like to convey is to put brackets after this sentence, “HITLER MATI DI INDONESIA”, and translate it to English because not all the audience can speak Bahasa Indonesia.

Thesis: An instructor at the University of Oxford in England believes that the alien abductions are genuine and they are breeding with humans. They lay them out on a table and extract sperm form the men and impregnate the women. The aliens are producing hybrid to help them take over our planet. The human hybrids would also help aliens preserving the part of their DNA.
Claim: The data indicates that up to 6% of Americans claim to have been abducted by aliens. Then the aliens are producing hybrids to finally take over the planet.
Evidence: To support the theory an instructor at the University of Oxford, he notes that several decades the number of reported alien abductions has risen.
Comment: I personally think that the article is very interesting. The article discusses a theory that alien is abducting human to create alien-human hybrids who can survive climate change. But, because this kind of topic is very controversial, I think that the article needs more proof and credible sources. I personally don’t really believe that the article is accurate. Adding more resource would create a better article.
