Though filtering websites in school to a certain extent is necessary, censoring shouldn’t be as strict because it will just intrigue the students to look for things they’re not supposed to. The websites that the school block can sometime be very useful to our school projects. Other than that, these websites can also help us broaden our views towards a problem. By getting different point of views of the problem, we can be more open to different perspectives. Hence, making us a smart and open-minded person. But there would still be some exception. Inappropriate things that aren’t suitable to be seen in a school environment such as porn should still be blocked, because it will only disturb the learning process of the students in school.
