Comparison: Piccaso was thought to be not “art”


Lion Art

Public Art Work:
In the school, there’s a painting that divides a lion face into four sections. The bottom left and bottom right looks like a normal lion, with different colours, the upper right looks like a black lion, and finally the upper left looks more abstract, with the lion face being green and full of eyeballs.
What kind of art it is?
Collage (from the French: coller, "to glue”) are types of art that combine other art piece into one single art is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. This art is definitely an assemblege so its collection.
Comparison
Kurt Schwitters, Das Undbild, 1919, Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.  That art is an assemblage of different newspapers and other stuff.  It’s similar to my pictured art, but while that art still resembles a lion, Das Unbild took it to next level by making it not really resembling anything coherent as a whole
