1. “Writing a Thesis Statement.” Ashford Writing Center, https://writingcenter.ashford.edu/writing-a-thesis.

I choose this to have the highest rank because of its completeness. Yes, it may not have a lot of examples, however, the website is able to cover the whole scope of thesis. Having its own section in order to make it easier for us to understand and well organized. From the website, we are able to learn on how to make a claim, analyzing a thesis, making a strong thesis, and also video tutorials. Truly, this website is helpful and I would recommend because of it multifunction.

2. Learning, Lumen. “Basic Reading and Writing.” Lumen, https://courses.lumenlearning.com/basicreadingandwriting/chapter/outcome-thesis/.

Runner up is this website. I choose this as second place, because the website is able to give multiple choices of learning, reading and listening. This way, students will have an easier access into learning. The only “downside” to this is that, it’s not as organized as the first website. Instead of having sections for each topic, they have different pages with multiple different topics, which may make it hard for some people to read/understand. Aside from that, the overall presentation of this website is good.

3. Writingcenter.unc.edu, https://writingcenter.unc.edu/tips-and-tools/thesis-statements/.

As mentioned in the very beginning, the website would like to focus on explaining what a thesis is and how it is going to be useful and also common in college. The article also emphasizes on each factors that is a part of a thesis so they can go over on the types of a thesis, why is it beneficial, up to how to write a good thesis. However, the article didn't include how to identify a thesis in someone else’s work, instead focusing on how to perfect our own thesis

4. “Q. What Is a Thesis Statement? I Need Some Examples, Too.” Answers, http://rasmussen.libanswers.com/faq/32467.

This website is similar to the first website, however, it emphasizes more into practicing on finding the opposite thesis statement, something to argue on. However, the examples the website gives, is only 1 sentence, and that makes it easier for us to identify the thesis, instead of a long paragraph which could be more challenging

5. Purdue Writing Lab. “Creating a Thesis Statement, Thesis Statement Tips // Purdue Writing Lab.” Purdue Writing Lab, https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/the_writing_process/thesis_statement_tips.html.

On the other hand, this website is not complete. The only thing it explains is a brief description to what a thesis is and a short example that is made by a student/teacher. It doesn't show how to identify a thesis statement and how to oppose it. Instead, it focuses to how to make a strong thesis statement.
