Nicely done. I like how you've taken the photo to make it look like a horizontal sea. That's quite touching the way you've brought your childhood memories into it; the theme section makes it clear and easy to understand what your poem is about. Thta's okay that the poem isn't too serious or "too personal" as you say, its a fun and sentimental poem.
